This is a familiar story for a girl like me. I loved this black bardot jacquard crop top by LPA on Revovle.com. Which was paired with the matching cropped pant. But of course. The pants were sold out in my size. Now, I had to go on an online journey to find something to pair with it. Going with a simple black could be a big fail, because of the texture and sheen of top. It could potentially make the top appear faded or washed out. So, I sought out the other colors in the top. Gold and a berry color. I ended up purchasing the gold pleated skirt from SHEIN.com. Not only did the skirt add flair. It made the colors on top really pop.
Special thanks to my photographer and friend Kelly Pyle @pbkpix. Also my beautiful and often used back drop Dowtown Charleston.
Hello Beautiful People! I recently did a session with the very talented photographer Nicole Mickle @nmicklephotography. She wanted to collab with a few bloggers for an edgy dark shoot. I immediately thought of leather. Leather soon turned in to latex, because it’s cheaper. I wanted to do something different from those super slutastic sweetheart dresses the Karjenners often wear. Not that there’s anything wrong with that. I found this wine midi dress on Asos.com for around $50.
Hello Beautiful People! Omfg! I was picked to be on the cover of a local Charleston Magazine named Skirt. It’s the September 2018 issue. They had a contest through Instagram for women to write a paragraph about why they loved their body. Four were chosen. Below is the paragraph I wrote
“I adore my lovely lady lumps. This body is a part of what makes me different, special and beautiful. It also inspires how I wear clothes. I love playing with color, prints and silhouettes that align with my voluptuous bohemian style. Dressing is all about the three C’s for me. Being comfortable in what complements keeps me confident. – Tiffany Terry
I’m a girl with curves and I do love myself and my body. In fact, I’m fuckin hot. Its a good feeling everyone, especially women’s publications. Are making a conscious effort to showcase women of all shapes and sizes. We are out there and we are spectacular. Not just skinny.
The shoot was at the Wentworth Mansion. Which is now a cute boutique hotel, but previously belonged to one of the wealthiest families in the south. You can guess how families gained their wealth back in the antebellum south. So it was slightly eerie for me. However, a very beautiful location for a shoot. Every single person I worked with were very professional and had positive energy.
This is the first publication I’ve ever been in, and i’ll be forever grateful. I don’t know if I’ll get an opportunity like this again. So I made the most of it. 😊

I absolutely love a lace and boned dress. With the combination of my exposed shoulders. I was head over heels when saw I this sexy yet classy number on runawaythelabel.com. Its Australian brand. So I had to be careful about the sizing. Australian and UK sizes are 4 sizes smaller than US sizes. What can I say? We like our greasy food over here.
When it arrived, it was a little snug. Thank god for shapewear and corsets. After that, it slid on perfectly. I felt like a fuckin sexy vixen. I felt like I could be in a telenovela smacking my cheating man dramatically. Except for the I don’t speak Spanish.
The location is Colonial Dorchester State Historic Site. Along the Ashley River. It is one of the many locations where a civil war battle took place. There were multiple spots to take photos, including a grave yard. However, I didn’t want to go that dark. The day was warm with an overcast. It made for great combination with the deep red color of the dress. It really set the mood. This was one of my favorite shoots so far. I’m excited to Explore more fun spots around the Low Country. Until next time, keep it sexy! 😉
