Graze Mt. Pleasant

I was working in Mt Pleasant last week, when I decided to do a little thrifting.  I worked up an appetite, so I googled the best lunch spots in Mt. Pleasant. ‘Graze’ was the first place that popped up with pretty good reviews. So I decided to give it a try.

It was around 12:30 when I arrived. The seating area was packed, so I took a seat at the bar. There was a gentleman telling the bartender how he normally doesn’t like German Riesling, but he’d try it for the hell of it. I knew at that point this was probably not my crowd. It was more of a stuffy older professional crowd. The bartender had resting bitch face and was not interested in being friendly. I don’t think she smiled at all. However, she did her job in a timely fashion, so I can’t complain.

The restaurant itself has a nice spacious layout for the space in to be in a strip mall. They had these great metal small sculptures that were done by a local artist. That really stood out to me, because it gave the place a cooler vibe.

I ordered Calamari fries as my appetizer and they  was were so freaking good. They came with the sweet Thai chili sauce and pickled ginger mayo, both very good.

For my entree I ordered the Cajun Crab Cake over potato hash with Tabasco Buerre Blanc. Pictured as the featured image. The combination of the potatoes, sauce, and cake were perfect together. I found my entire meal thoroughly satisfying. My bill was a little under $30, which included my Pinot Grigio. A little pricey for a girl on a budget, but worth every penny. I put the lunch menu below with prices included.
